THE ADDISON CUP

The Addison Cup is awarded to a graduating player that exemplifies Brad Addison’s dedication to excellence, perseverance and sportsmanship.

Brad grew up playing baseball at a competitive level. He loved the intricacy of the rules, the skill required to play the game, and the beauty of the field. But most of all he believed that playing a team sport built character, teaching life lessons about doing your best, looking out for your teammates and treating your opponents with respect. Brad coached with a competitive spirit, but with joy, with learning and fun at the centre.

Brad coached the teams of his three children in Jericho baseball for a decade. He continued to coach even in the last year of his life, seeing it as a way to give back and a privilege. Jericho Baseball is fortunate enough to have Brad's daughter Kate as a current Jericho Coach and two of his grandkids as Jericho players!
