Player Assessments

Kid Pitch and Minors Division

For those players baseball aged 9-12, registered in either the Kid Pitch or Minors Division, an assessment will occur on February 7 & 8, 2026 at UBC. Players will be assigned a specific date/timeslot for their assessment and will be contacted closer to the date with more details.

The assessment process has two primary goals:

1. To place players in the appropriate division based on skill, emotional level and safety considerations

2. To facilitate the drafting of teams in AA, AAA and Majors, with the goal of having evenly balanced teams.

** Players registered in Blastball, TBall and Mini Minors Divisions, as well as players baseball aged 7 and 8, registered in the Minors Division are NOT required to attend the assessments.
