Summer Season: July 2020
Registration for our summer season is now closed.
Our summer season will run the month of July. Players can expect to play 1-2 times per week, in groups of no more than 10 players. Scheduling details to come shortly.
You must register your own children in our online registration system. YOU MAY NOT REGISTER A “FRIEND” OF THE FAMILY OR A TEAMMATE. Due to the legal waiver required in the registration form, only Parents or Guardians may register their children with Jericho Baseball.
If you need help with our online registration system, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information and question and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If English is not your first language, we can most likely put you in touch with someone who can help you with our registration form in your native language.
Little League Canada requires that your child registers for the league within which your home address or your child’s school lies. Please check the map on our boundaries HERE to see if your home address or your child’s school falls within Jericho’s boundaries.

Players will be placed into divisions based on their age and skill level, determined primarily on their assessment scores. Majors will be split into 3 sub-divisions: A, B & C.
Majors A - The Majors A program is weighted toward baseball ages 11 & 12 and is the highest level of play within Jericho. At this level, players get to showcase the skills they have developed through their little league career. Majors A is a competitive level of play that requires players to apply their teamwork, positioning, and situational awareness skills. Players are expected to have a solid understanding of baseball fundamentals.
Majors B - Players at this level have sound baseball skills and are willing and capable of learning advanced baseball techniques and strategies. Games are player pitch.
Majors C – This is the transition level between Minors and upper-level Majors. Players graduate from a combination of player/coach pitch to entirely player pitched games. Coaches continue to improve players' foundational skills, athletic literacy, sportsmanship, teamwork and strategic baseball knowledge (Baseball IQ).
Location: Carnarvon Park, Jericho and Trimble
Equipment/Uniform: The club provides a baseball cap, team jersey, catcher’s protective gear and bats. Players must provide their own batting helmet, baseball glove, baseball pants, athletic cup (jock/jill), baseball cleats (rubber/plastic studs only). Sliding pants, a bat and batting gloves are also recommended.
Parents/Guardians are expected to assist coaches with running practices/games, keeping score, tracking pitch count, operating the scoreboard and fieldwork (pre- & post-practices/games).
For children born between September 1st, 2010 and August 31st, 2013. Players will be baseball age 7 to 9 years old. It is for the 7-year-old that is ready to move up from Mini-minors and the 9-year-old that is new to the game.
8 & 9-year-old players are allowed to try out for Majors. Please refer to the Majors Division details listed above for more information regarding assessments.
Minors is a semi-competitive development program, building on the fundamental baseball skills. Training begins to focus on the details of positional play and defensive strategies. A combination of machine pitch and coach pitch is used at this level. Fun, physical activity, confidence building and the value of teamwork continue to be a priority.
Location: Lower Trimble NE or Trimble SE & (Skills only) at Carnarvon NE
Equipment/Uniform: The club provides a baseball cap, team jersey and bats. Players must provide their batting helmet, baseball glove, baseball pants, athletic cup (jock/jill), runners or baseball cleats (rubber/plastic studs only). Sliding pants, a bat and batting gloves are optional

Mini Minors Division
For children born between September 1st, 2012 and August 31, 2014. Players will be baseball age 6 - 7 years old. Six-year-olds (DOB: Sept. 1, 2013 - Aug. 31, 2014) that played TBall during the previous season may join Mini Minors this season.
Mini Minors is a transitional program between TBall and Minors. Children continue learning the fundamentals of baseball. Mini Minors is primarily coach pitch; however, machine pitch is introduced towards the end of the season. The primary focus is on fun, being part of a team, physical activity, and building confidence.
Location: Carnarvon Park or Trimble Park
Equipment/Uniform: The club provides a baseball cap, team t-shirt and bats. Players must provide their batting helmet, baseball glove, baseball pants, athletic cup (Jock/Jill), runners or cleats (rubber/plastic studs only).
Parents/Guardians are expected to assist coaches with running practice and minor grounds keeping post-practice. Often teams elect to have parents take turns providing a healthy, nut-free snack for the team.
For children born between September 1st, 2013 and August 31, 2015. Players will be baseball age 5 - 6 years old. If you have a child born between September 1, 2015, and August 31, 2016, they are welcome to play TBall providing that they played Blastball during the previous season, are able to listen to instruction and have good safety awareness.
Children learn the fundamentals of hitting off a tee, throwing, fielding and running. The primary focus is on fun, being part of a team, physical activity, and building confidence.
Location: Carnarvon East Central or Trimble SW
Equipment/Uniform: The club provides a baseball cap, team t-shirt and bats. Players must provide their batting helmet, baseball glove, baseball pants, runners or cleats (rubber/plastic studs only).
Parent/Guardian participation, in support of the volunteer coaches, during practices and in the dugout on game days is encouraged. Often teams elect to have parents take turns providing a healthy, nut-free snack for the team.
Parents are required to be at the field supervising their children during all practice and game times. For liability reasons, our volunteer coaches cannot accept parental responsibility for your children. Our coaches are focused on providing structured practice drills to improve players’ baseball skills. They are not running a babysitting service. If a parent must leave the field for any reason, they must assign supervision of their child to a trusted friend – NOT the coaches.
Since you have to be at the field at all times anyway, you might as well help out! Bring your glove, chase down some balls, organize lines for drills, tie shoes, etc. Fields need to be prepared for play before and after games and practices, scores kept, or concessions cooked. There is no shortage of things to do. It’s fun!
All parents are required to help out.
You will be asked to “agree” to the following waiver during registration. Please read it now so you have time to consider it.
