are as follows:
- Majors registration closes February 18, 2012
- Minors registration closes March 1, 2012
- TBall and Blastball registration closes March 10, 2012
Attempting to register after the deadline puts an extra burden
on the volunteers who are trying to form teams. Any late
registrations will incur a $25 late fee in addition to the normal
fees and deposits which must be paid in advance. After teams are
formed, your registration will only be accepted if a roster spot
becomes available due to another player dropping out. Register NOW!
2012 Majors
Assessments
Player assessments for all Majors division players (baseball age
9 - 12) were conducted at the end of the 2011 season. We also
collected player assessment information from each Minors A and
Majors coach. This information will be used to draft players onto
teams for the 2012 Majors divisions.
Any players wishing to play in the Majors divisions who are
completely new to Jericho Little League will need to be assessed.
We will hold the new player assessments at 3:15 pm on February 19,
2012 in the gymnasium at the West Point Grey Community Centre (4397 W. 2nd Ave). Players should bring their
baseball gloves and wear shoes appropriate for the gym (no
cleats).
Carnarvon Field
House Renovation:
Jericho Baseball is working on a proposal to the Vancouver Parks
Board to renovate the existing Field House at Carnarvon Park and
change the diamond configuration to put our main Majors diamond
closest to the field house. We hope to improve our concession
offering and build up the sense of community at the ballpark. The
improvements are being pursued in partnership with the Westside
Warriors minor football association.

Children's Fitness
Tax Credit
Our baseball league registration fees are eligible for the Canadian
Revenue Agency's Children's Fitness Tax Credit. Receipts for
the 2011 season were emailed to all participants on January 2, 2012
for use with your 2011 taxes. Receipts for 2012 participants will
be emailed before January 3, 2013 for use with your 2012 taxes. For
